This uncirculated 5 Chinese yuan note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the People’s Bank of China. It is a purple, orange, and blue note that is dated 2020 and measures 135 mm x 63 mm. Its obverse side features a portrait of Mao Zedong and the denomination in OVI. Its reverse side depicts a sunrise over Mount Tai, one of the “Five Great Mountains” in Shandong. Security features include Omron rings, a solid security thread, and a watermark of peony flowers with an electrotype 5.
