The "Expo Dollars" novelty banknotes were issued in 1988 to commemorate the Bicentenary World Expo held in Brisbane, Queensland on April 30 - October 30, 1988. Shown on the obverse is the Expo sun sails logo illustrating the Expos entertainment while the reverse is the logo that displays a globe grid.
